A Childhood Memory

I remember when I was a kid, I saw a postcard from Langkawi. On it, was a beautiful resort, set on a beyond gorgeous coastline. The sand was white, and I could almost feel it under my feet. Soft. And the water looked inviting. I closed my eyes and I could hear the waves washing up to the shore.

And then... I open my eyes and I'm brought back to reality. Immediately, I ran to my Daddy and told him "DADDYDADDYIWANNAGOHERE!!!"

"Where?"

"HERE!!!" As I wave the postcard around frantically.

"Where??"

"HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Daddy takes the postcard from me and goes "oooooh. Langkawi."

And time passed. And I realize that until now, I still haven't Gone There!!!

I'm sure Langkawi's changed alot from then 'til now. But it'd be nice to go there. To really experience the 'paradise' of what I saw years ago in that postcard.
